I received this email through a long line of forwards (removed). I don’t know Beth, but someone she knows knows lots of people including someone who knows lots of people… including someone who knows someone I know (my daughter-in-law who is a Catholic with a great sense of humor). In this season of endless, boring, underwhelming and yet well publicized political debates about matters that are of utmost importance, debates that are won or lost on points such as how presidential contenders look on camera, I do appreciate this debate being shared with me.
I’m sure that there are at least a few objective journalists and knowledgeable political pundits out there who are qualified to tell us who won the debate…
So, which sign do you think is the prettiest?

I don’t normally send forwards to this busy crowd, but I couldn’t keep this one to myself. Enjoy
ROFL! It appears that these two churches face each other across the street as they seem to be engaged in a rather interesting debate over dogs.

Well, my dog’s name is Fluffy. She is an expert at home security (an issue she makes a stand on). The neighbors find her articulate (she is not afraid to make herself heard on any issue). She’s photogenic. And reporters would have a hard time misconstruing her opinions. She is a working class mom that isn’t afraid to deal with the nitty, gritty realities of life… Sounds good to me. VOTE FOR FLUFFY!!!!!!

This is hilarious. I came to your website from Connors, then I noticed you are related to my friends Troy and Rebekah?
October 15, 2008 at 7:24 am
Carissa, that is correct. I am Troy’s aunt. His mother is my next younger sister.
I was at my parent’s home when Troy first brought Rebekah over to introduce her to the family and immediately became a very strong proponent of a marriage proposal. Fortunately she said yes:) They are an amazing couple and I feel lucky to be related to them.
So which one of them do you think would make the better president? Should we add them to the write in ticket? Is this open for debate?

Hee hee, I think I’ll vote for the underDOG!
Troy and Rebekah are awesome. I met them at Ft. Rucker (my husband knew Troy from ROTC). Our kids love them and still ask about them. They used to come over late at night and get all 4 of them crazy hyper for us and then leave. Good times. What a small world.

My grand kids vote for the underdog too… every time we go to the park, but I’ve found that it is getting harder to run under the swings than it used to be. Hope that isn’t a sign of how things will be with all the swing voters out there.
It is interesting that Troy was so out going with your kids. He is usually a serious and more silent type at our family gatherings. I knew that Rebekah would be good for him.

This is quite funny. I can’t help but wonder if these fine folks were doing this in a good natured way or whether each party was quite adamant about its views.
